Since 2013, the Charitable Arts Ministry (CAM) has brought together artists and those who love the visual arts. Members work together to direct their talents toward the service of God and St. Joseph’s.
The ministry includes artists of all media — novice to professional (painters, draftsmen, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, and ceramists). Current membership includes several artists from other parishes within St. Augustine Diocese, and we are pursuing opportunities to expand that participation.
Through the thoughtful use of artistic interests and talents, like-minded people share a unique opportunity to enrich the parish. By encouraging each other to greater achievement, and through collaborative works, shows, and fundraisers, we support St. Joseph’s Parish, its other ministries, and the greater community.
CAM meets quarterly in the Coyne room at Cody Center on first Tuesdays, at
7 pm. Please stop in to meet participants, ask questions, and offer suggestions. We welcome non-artists who wish to contribute to our fast-growing ministry through volunteering or perhaps through a particular area of expertise.
